The South African Electrotechnical Export Council is the formal interface between the Department of Trade and Industry and the electrotechnical sector.

 They aim to address trade opportunities and issues by capitalising on combined strength and to assist members in growing their exports by:

  • Identifying and facilitating export opportunities
  • Influencing trade policies
  • Providing operational and logistical support

DTI Individual Exhibition Incentive Scheme

You can now claim up to R45 000 for a shell scheme stand. (SMME's & HDI's qualify for some flight and daily allowance incentives.  ((The company status is determined by the Company's Audited Financial Statements)).

Qualifying Entities:

     1. South African manufacturers of products.
     2. South African export trading houses representing at least three SMME's or HDI's owned   enterprises.
     3. South African comissions agents representing at least three SMME's or HID owned enterprises.
     4. South African Export Councils, Industry Associations and Joint Action Groups.
     5. Entities that are outsourcing their manufacturing process.
     6. Entities in the following service sectors priotized by the dti:
     6.1 Capital equipment
     6.2 Built Environment Professions
     6.3 Film and Television
     6.4 Pre-qualified Tourism
     6.5 Electrotechnical
     6.6 Business Process Outsourcing
     6.7 Music (cultural industries)
